Morgan Hannan
President & CEO
Morgan joined KPAA in early 2026, having moved to Kaua’i in 2024. He holds a masters in Urban Management and Development, specializing in regional economic resilience, competitiveness and accessibility. Morgan’s work has included community and governance capacity development, the built environment and urban planning, economic and cultural geography, and data for impact across Australia, the UK and Europe. Working across many sectors, Morgan’s priority is always to be grounded first and foremost in people-centered experience and outcomes, and ensuring outcomes are systematic, sustained and empowering.
Alanna Souza
Project Lead
Alanna was born and raised on Kaua'i and is a graduate of Kapa'a High School. She holds a Master’s Degree in Quantitative Economics from California Lutheran University. After moving home to Hawaii in 2020, Alanna has held pivotal roles across nonprofit, government, and private sectors. She currently serves as a board member for The
Hanalei Initiative and the State of Hawaii Early Learning Board, continuing her
commitment to community development, education, and resilience on Kaua'i and across
the state.
Leah Ho
Maternal and Child Health Specialization Lead
Leah Ho was born and raised on Kauai’s North Shore and with her husband, Ray, and their children, Megan, Hoku, Lehxi, Laycee, and Leia, have been serving Kaua’i’s communities for many years. With 10+ years of experience and deep knowledge of the support services network, Leah leads the breadth of Keiki to Career initiatives; connecting and coordinating resources to best assist families through Resource Kiosks, outreach events, and meeting with families one-on-one. Leah assists with Kauai Child Passenger Safety, Hawaii DHS Child Welfare Services Citizen’s Review Panel and DHS’s school-based and community Family Resources Centers, Hawaii Water Safety Coalition, Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition, Hawaii Community Health Workers
Association, Kauai And Hawaii State Rural Health Association, Hawaii Afterschool
Alliance, and Hawaii Ohana Support Network.
