Alice Luck is the President and CEO of KPAA and coordinator of their main initiative, Keiki to Career. Alice has over ten years of experience working with nonprofits dedicated to youth development, early childhood, family support, education, and mental health. Prior to joining KPAA, Alice was the Grants Administrator for Children’s Home Society of California, a statewide family support agency. Alice comes to KPAA with a strong background in fund development as well as program management experience. Alice has also lived abroad as a teacher in Bolivia and South Korea.
Nannie Ann Apalla,
Program Manager
Nannie Ann Apalla is our Program Manager. Nannie manages our Kekaha Elementary Early Literacy Project as well as manages communications for the Kaua`i Resilience Project. Nannie comes to us with a great communications and programs background. Nannie has a degree in Communications-Marketing from Chaminade University and spent a few years abroad to expand her skills by immersing herself in the challenge of living and studying in a Hamburg, Germany. Nannie was raised on Kaua`i and is a graduate of Kaua`i High School. She is looking forward to putting her learned skills and knowledge to use in helping our young people get a good start in life.

Aloha and Mahalo
After 5 years with Keiki to Career and KPAA, I am moving on to a new adventure. It has been an incredible honor and a privilege to work with all of you to create brighter futures for our keiki and youth.
When I look back and see how far we have come, I know it is because of all of you. Mahalo. Kaua`i is my home, and I am deeply happy that we will still see each other everywhere. I’ll be doing some non-profit consulting and also continuing my volunteer work across the island. And of course, spending a lot more time with my grandson!
Mahalo for the opportunity to serve. It has been a life-changing experience for me to work with all of you.
